ProPay has been informed of an issue with readers used by our partners, supplied by Anywhere Commerce and manufactured by BBPOS.
In order for these mobile card readers to continue to be able to fully do EMV transactions, the firmware in the devices needs to be updated by 12/31/2021.
If users do not update the firmware, the device will not function for EMV transactions.

Walker 2.0 BT
Walker C2XBT
Please review the attached notice from Anywhere Commerce for specific details of this issue, including remediation steps.
Remediation options include:
1. Over-the-Air update of the firmware. (For integrators who have or can enable this functionality in their apps)
2. Individual users can download the or Chipper OTA app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store to update their device firmware.
